Mighty Learners
We are located on the boundaries of Inglewood and Prince Rupert. Our facilities and standards of care were created by Nanveet Kaur, a lifelong child educator and highly educated professional. With a Bachelor of Education, a Bachelor of Arts, the Childcare Development Supervisor Certification from the Province of Alberta, and an Emergency Child Care First Aid from the Red Cross, Nanveet understands and fully subscribes to childcare best practices.
Nanveet combines her education and experience with the motherly instinct from raising her own children, enabling her to visualize and create an environment that children will thrive and grow in. Not all daycares are created equal — Nanveet has created a facility that is absolutely exceptional, a childcare experience of the highest quality with the consistency and care that removes any worry. Every detail is meant to stimulate the senses of the young developing mind and create an experience that children enjoy.

Mighty Learners
We believe in treating each child with personalized care and attention, according to their unique needs and personality. We always take the time to get to know the children entrusted to our care and provide parents with progress reports at the end of each day.
Our goal is to assist parents in helping each child achieve his or her full potential. Our team strives to make every individual child feel accepted, loved, nurtured, and safe — no matter their disability, culture, and/or background.
We aim to meet every child's developmental needs and domains by following the developmental domains, which include social, emotional, language, intellectual, physical, and creative development.
Mighty Learners
Our philosophy at Mighty Learners and Out of School Care is to provide an environment where children can learn through play and exploration — an establishment where children feel safe and are encouraged to try new tasks while enhancing their abilities.
Our team promotes children's abilities to resolve conflicts, understand mutual respect, gain independence, and build self-esteem. These abilities are also encouraged by teachers modeling and encouraging socially acceptable behaviour where children are encouraged to self-regulate and develop positive relationships.
The children's environment consists of routines and transitions in order to provide consistency and security; flexibility that facilitates decision-making and free choice is incorporated in the program on a daily basis.
We strive to provide quality care for all children, regardless of race, ethnicity, financial situations, gender, and family structure. Educators base their program planning around the children's interests, as we believe children learn and retain more information when interested and fully engaged in activities and games.

Child Development
Every parent strives to raise a healthy, compassionate child who has high self-esteem and respect for others. Knowing the seven domains of childhood development can help parents and caregivers positively foster a child's early learning every step of the way.
Children learn physical development through everyday outdoor play (weather permitting) and indoor group games, building coordination, strength, and healthy habits.
Social development takes part in everyday interactions with classmates, educators, and visitors — teaching children mutual respect, conflict resolution, and positive relationships.
Educators challenge children's intellectual development through exploration of play centres, tabletop activities, and experiments that spark curiosity and critical thinking.
Children enhance their creative development through open-ended art, allowing them to freely express themselves and develop imagination and innovation.
We foster self-regulation, self-esteem, and emotional resilience — helping children understand and manage their feelings in a safe and supportive environment.
Rich language experiences through storytelling, conversation, and literacy activities build strong communication skills and a love of learning.
We foster independence and decision-making skills as the children are viewed as competent and capable members of society, empowered to make choices every day.
